Saturday, 25 February 2017. McGill Aikido Seminar with Don Dickie Sensei
Place: McGiII Aikido Dojo (475 Avenue des Pins Ouest, Montreal).

Seminar led by Don Dickie, 6th Dan Shidoin. Organized by McGill Aikido.
Sensei Don began practicing aikido in 1980 and became Chief Instructor of the Ottawa Aikikai in 1990.
Currently holds a 6th Dan in Aikido and a 3rd Dan in Tae Kwon Do. Dickie Sensei also practices meditation (Tibetan Buddhism) and Qigong, a Chinese health system that focuses on the movement of Ki throughout the body.
The primary influences on Don's formative years in Aikido came from the late Kanai Sensei and Chiba Sensei, as well as Yamada Sensei and Mary Heiny Sensei.
Bring your weapons, your zoris to walk from the change rooms to the dojo and a padlock for a locker.

Place: McGiII Aikido Dojo (475 Avenue des Pins Ouest, Montreal).

Our «Winter Seminar» will be taking place at McGiII Aikido's Dojo,

Saturday & Sunday March 12 & 13th 2016

to be lead by Paul Müller, one of the pioneers of Aikido in France.

Having begun training in 1963 at age 15, he was a direct student of Shihans Nakazono, Tamura, Noro, Chiba and Nishio.

Sensei Müller was awarded the rank of 5th dan Iaido Toho from Nishio Shihan. He integrates the important role of weapons - katana, bokken and jo - in his Aikido training.
He has been teaching Aikido in Strasbourg since October 1971.

Notre «Séminaire d'hiver» aura lieu au dojo d'Aïkido McGiII,

samedi et dimanche les 12 et 13 mars 2016 et sera animé par Paul Müller, l'un des pionniers de l'Aïkido en France.

Il débuta sa pratique en 1963 à l'âge de 15 ans. Il fut l'élève direct des maîtres Nakazono, Tamura, Noro, Chiba et Nishio.

Gradé 5ième Dan Iaïdo Toho par maître Nishio, Sensei Müller explore le rôle central du travail des armes - katana, bokken et jo - dans la pratique de l'Aïkido.
Il enseigne l’Aïkido à Strasbourg depuis octobre 1971.
